Synopsis

Makoto Misumi, an ordinary high school student, is summoned to another world to become a hero. However, the goddess of that world judges him to be unattractive and throws him to the desolate edge of her world. Meanwhile, the goddess secretly kidnaps two other people from Earth with more pleasing appearances and bestows them with the hero title.

Lost and alone, Makoto finds unexpected help from a friendly spider and a tribe of orcs. He also discovers that his seemingly mundane abilities from his old life, such as his proficiency in archery and knowledge of herbal medicine, are incredibly powerful in this new world. With the help of his newfound companions, Makoto embarks on a journey to build a new life for himself in this harsh environment, but also vows to find a way to return home.
